Dog sitting & day care · UTC, San Diego

Dog sitting in UTC with a big backyard and real attention.

I care for dogs in my home near University Town Center (UTC) in San Diego. I keep the group small, never more than three dogs a day, so every dog gets play time, rest and someone who notices how they're doing.

About

Small group, big yard, one person who loves dogs.

Hi, I'm Iryna. Dogs have always been part of my life, and my home has a large yard made for running, sniffing and napping in the sun. I started pet sitting so local dogs could have a calm, safe place to spend the day while their people work or travel.

  • A 50% deposit confirms your booking. The rest is due at drop-off.

  • Leaving early or picking up early doesn't reduce the daily price.

Late pick-up & no pick-up

  • Pick-up is by 6:30 pm. There's a 15-minute grace period.
  • After 6:45 pm, a late fee of $25 is charged for each started 30 minutes.
  • If your dog isn't picked up by 8:30 pm, I'll call you and then your emergency contact.
  • If I can't reach anyone, your dog stays overnight. You'll be charged the overnight rate ($120 per dog) plus late fees.

Health, vet care & behavior

  • If your dog is hurt or sick, I'll call you right away. In an emergency I may take your dog to a vet, and you agree to pay the vet costs. This is why pet insurance is required.
  • You're responsible for any injury or damage your dog causes.
  • If a dog shows aggression, I'll ask you to pick up within 2 hours. That day is charged in full.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

How many dogs do you care for at once?

No more than three dogs a day, so play stays safe and every dog gets attention.

Is there a price for more than one dog?

Yes. For day care, one dog is $95 a day, two dogs from the same home are $180 a day, and three are $270 a day.

Do you offer overnight stays?

Yes. Overnight stays are $120 a night per dog. Drop-off is from 4 pm and pick-up is by 10 am the next morning. Dogs sleep indoors with me.

Why do you require pet insurance?

It's required for every dog, with no exceptions. Dogs play hard, and accidents can happen even with close supervision. Insurance means your dog can get the right vet care quickly without cost getting in the way.

What should I pack?

Your dog's food for the day, any medication with written instructions, a leash, and a favorite toy or blanket if it helps them settle.

What if my dog gets sick or hurt?

I'll call you right away. If I can't reach you and it's urgent, I'll take your dog to the nearest emergency vet and keep you updated.

Do you take puppies?

Yes, if they're at least 4 months old and have finished their puppy vaccines.

How do I cancel?

Message me more than 72 hours before the booked day for a full refund. See the cancellation table under Policies for shorter notice.
